A former Ms. Asia World, Mrs. Rowena Baraan-Krifaton is a model, a journalist, a well connected community leader, and an event producer who has successfully organized charity functions, “meet-and-greets,” and fund raising events. Rowena was discovered and recruited by a renowned fashion designer at the age of 17. She has been a model for internationally celebrated fashion designers like Versace, Custo of Madrid, Calvin Klein as well as Asia’s best, Nunu Guevarra, Ito Kurata, Louie Mamengo, just to name a few. Residing in Las Vegas, Rowena teaches and directs runway fashion shows and personality growth and development to young women both in Las Vegas and California where she shares how to combine beauty and sophistication with simple elegance!

Dr. Suzie Su is a graduate of UCLA, School of Dentistry (1994). She is also a graduate of the Advance Education Program in Periodontics and Implantology at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry (A 3 years post-graduate program 1997). She is updated with the latest dental innovations and technology through many courses in dental continuing educations. She has been in private practice for almost 20 years and is passionate about her profession. Dr. Suzie Su is the founder of CosmoWhite and WhiteHaute. Vegas nightlife demands a cosmetic dental product that will maintain that bright white smile.

The Miss AAPI USA Pageant is a four day program from 9 am to 9 pm daily on February 7 – 10, 2013.  Participants will have the opportunity to meet and work with some of the best in the pageant and beauty industries and some of the most successful business and community leaders.  The cost of participation is $300*, which will include lunch and dinner for the four days, as well as participation in all enrichment programs including transportation to offsite locations. Below is the tentative schedule (subject to change) of activities for the Miss AAPI USA Pageant for 2013.  PRIZES: In addition to being crowned Miss AAPI USA, the winner will receive a combination of cash and gift prizes with a retail value of Ten Thousand US Dollars ($10,000). The First RunnerUp will receive a combination of cash and gift prizes with a retail value of Five Thousand US Dollars ($5,000). The Second Runner-Up will receive a combination of cash and gift prizes with a retail value of Two Thousand Five Hundred US Dollars ($2,500). All contestants may receive gift certificates and/or complimentary services at the discretion of the Pageant Committee.

*The cost of $300 may be defrayed by procuring ad(s) in the souvenir program book.  Please ask pageant organizers for details.
