Chinese New Year in the Desert, also known as the Las Vegas Spring Festival (CNY/LVSF), is a three-day event sponsored and endorsed by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. Our goal is to bring the largest Chinese/Lunar New Year celebration in the US to the great city of Las Vegas; thus, promoting tourism and attracting the ever-increasing numbers of leisure visitors to the area.

For 2014, CNY/LVSF will be anchored by three marquee events: 1) Cultural Performances & Nightly Concert Series 2) Race to Zumba World Record and 3) The Las Vegas Spring Festival Parade.

KEY SUMMARY:

 CNY in the Desert® is a 501(c)(3) Nevada Nonprofit Corporation, effective March 13, 2013. Our mission is to educate the community about the Asian American and Pacific Islander culture as it relates to the annual Lunar New Year and Chinese New Year celebration, including history, tradition, customs, arts, dance and music.

 FSE has commissioned Preferred Public Relations to market the event for the third consecutive year.

 Clark County School District (CCSD) – the Equity and Diversity Department will be spear-heading the Art component of the festival by having the CCSD students to create paper lanterns and Asian art to be displayed throughout the weekend for the second consecutive year as well as having a Float and school bands at the Parade. CCSD has over 300,000 students.

 CNY/LVSF has enlisted the help of Cultural Ambassadors who represent most of the cultural associations and organizations here in Las Vegas, including but not limited to Chinese American Associations, Japanese American Citizens League, Lions International, Las Vegas International Council of Chambers, International Festival Association, Japanese Animation Association, Vietnamese Council, UNLV Student Organizations, Clark County School District, LeCordon Bleu Las Vegas, etc., to be champions within their community/group to promote CNY/LVSF and to commit to participating in the festival.

 Average daily attendance at the Fremont Street Experience is more than 25,000 according to Vegas.com.

The PARADE TITLE Sponsor – $15,000 (ONLY 1 Slot Available!)

 Exclusivity of TITLE Sponsorship of the Parade

 Logo prominently displayed on Viva Vision, the world’s largest video screen which is 1,500 feet long, 90 feet wide and suspended 90 feet above the urban pedestrian mall, throughout the 3-night CNY event. Viva Vision features spectacular light and sounds shows with 12.5 million LED lights and a 550,000-watt sound system. Logo will be shown as Title Sponsor of Parade as a tagline throughout the 3-nights between the hours of 6pm-9pm

 Coupon Book Opportunities (Up to 8 Pages) with Title Sponsor placement – 10,000 copies to be printed and distributed to Tour Groups, ethnic grocery stores, Asian restaurants & at various ethnic chamber & associations events

 Sponsor banner prominently displayed at the 3rd Street Entertainment Stage (Main stage of CNY Celebration) on Fremont Street for the Duration of the 3-Day Event

 Logo in prominent position on Step-and-Repeat Backdrop/Media Wall/ Red Carpet

 On stage interview and recognition as Title Sponsor with Host and Hostess of the Parade

 Option to serve as Grand Marshal at the Parade

 Title Sponsor logo in premier position on all Parade marketing collateral

 Title Sponsor logo in premier position on CNY fliers, brochures, programs, and all other marketing collateral

 Logo prominently displayed on Viva Vision, the world’s largest video screen which is 1,500 feet long, 90 feet wide and suspended 90 feet above the urban pedestrian mall, throughout the 3-night CNY event. Viva Vision features spectacular light and sounds shows with 12.5 million LED lights and a 550,000-watt sound system. Logo will be shown as Title Sponsor of Fashion Show as a tagline throughout the 3-nights between the hours of 6pm-9pm

Viva Vision features spectacular light and sounds shows with 12.5 million LED lights and a 550,000-watt sound system. Logo will be shown as a SILVER Sponsor of CNY in the Desert as a tagline throughout the 3-nights between the hours of 6pm-9pm

Vendor Village Sponsorship – $1,500

 10×10 tent space at Festival (Hours: Friday: 5pm-10pm, Saturday & Sunday: 1pm-9pm)

 One (1) 6-ft table and Two (2) chairs will be provided

 One (1) 20 amp Electrical Outlet

The COMMUNITY/ Non-Profit Organization Sponsorship – $800

 Logo displayed on Viva Vision, the world’s largest video screen which is 1,500 feet long, 90 feet wide and suspended 90 feet above the urban pedestrian mall, throughout the 3-night CNY event. Viva Vision features spectacular light and sounds shows with 12.5 million LED lights and a 550,000-watt sound system. Logo will be shown with other COMMUNITY sponsors of CNY in the Desert as a tagline throughout the 3-nights between the hours of 6pm-9pm
