Golden Catalyst presents:
The 11th Annual Chinese New Year in the Desert ™
Chinese New Year is the most important Chinese holiday and is known as “Spring Festival” in China, “Tet New Year” in Vietnam and “Seol-lal” in Korea.
The explosive growth of Chinese New Year in the Desert™ over the past 10 years has led to an expanded program at various venues in 2022. Participating venues include: Grand Canal Shoppes, The X-Pot, Taverna Costera, Downtown Las Vegas, and Rainbow Kitchen.
The success of our event has largely been due to the contributions of our generous sponsors and donors who have lent their financial support to this event. We want to thank Jamba inside Las Vegas Airport for championing this year’s annual festival.
Ten years in and Chinese New Year in the Desert™ has grown from just another cultural event to one that is an official state recognized “Nevada 150” event and what Forbes Magazine has called “one of the top 8 places in the United States to celebrate Chinese New Year”.
Our goal is to bring the largest Chinese/Lunar New Year celebration in the US to the great city of Las Vegas. Every year the money we raise has gone towards increasing awareness and educating the community about the Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures as it relates to the annual Lunar New Year celebration.
The silent auction is a fundraiser to help fund the operations of the celebration and to support our 11th Annual CNY in the Desert Celebration!
We hope this silent auction hits three goals: 1. Help raise a minimum of $5,000, 2.
Market and Promote the products and services of our generous sponsors/donors,
and 3. Increase awareness of our annual Lunar New Year Celebration!
Thank you for your support!
